Qualifications

• Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–3 years project-based technical sales experience involving pumps and ACMV/HVAC systems.
• Proven ability to develop new accounts and follow project opportunities through to sales closure.
• Able to present technical solutions confidently to customers and consultants.
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence.
• Comfortable travelling to customer offices and project sites regularly.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying new project opportunities.
• Develop new business with consultants, contractors, developers, building owners and other relevant stakeholders.
• Understand project specifications and customer requirements and recommend suitable pump and ACMV solutions.
• Attend customer meetings, consultant discussions, site visits and project briefings.
• Prepare quotations, technical proposals, presentations and supporting project documentation.
• Follow up on project opportunities from initial enquiry and specification stage through tender, award and order confirmation.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, operations and service teams to ensure technical and commercial requirements are met.
• Provide technical and commercial support for pumps, pumping systems and ACMV applications.
• Monitor project progress, customer requirements and competitor activity.
• Follow up on customer accounts and outstanding payments where required.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline and project opportunity records.
• Perform other related project-sales duties as assigned.

Job description

• Position: Project Sales Engineer - Pumps & ACMV

• Location: Farrer Park

• Working hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:30pm; Saturday: 8:30am to 12:30pm (One Saturday per month upon confirmation)

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $6,000 basic salary + $800 transport allowance + $80 mobile allowance + AWS (1 month) + Performance Bonus

Requirements:

• Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.

• Proven ability to develop new accounts and follow project opportunities through to sales closure.

• Able to present technical solutions confidently to customers and consultants.

• Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence.

• Comfortable travelling to customer offices and project sites regularly.
