Job summary

A leading company in the drilling industry is seeking a Program Manager to oversee project execution and stakeholder coordination. The successful candidate will manage multiple projects ensuring alignment with business goals, support budgeting, and utilize project management tools to optimize workflows. Applicants should hold a diploma in a related field, alongside 2-4 years of experience in project management, preferably within supply chain or engineering environments.

Qualifications

  • 2 – 4 years in project/program management, preferably in supply chain or engineering environments.
  • PMP or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Experience in cost modelling, RFQ handling or supply chain systems a plus.

Job Description:


1. Program Management & Strategy

  • Implement and monitor program initiatives that support broader organizational strategies and goals.
  • Align projects across departments to ensure program synergies and goal convergence.
  • Track program KPIs and lead regular updates and reporting to stakeholders

2. Project Execution

  • Assist in defining project scope, deliverables, timelines and resources in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate, monitor and support the execution of multiple projects within a program, ensuring progress aligns with business goals.
  • Identify gaps and dependencies between project workstreams and escalate as needed

3. Stakeholder & Cross-functional Coordination

  • Partner with supply chain, procurement, engineering and logistics stakeholders to facilitate the timely execution of deliverables.
  • Communicate project updates, challenges and risks to key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support vendor management and external partner communication where necessary

4. Budget & Risk Management

  • Support program budgeting, cost estimation and resource forecasting to optimize efficiency and ROI.
  • Help evaluate and mitigate project and program risks, propose solutions to avoid delays or inefficiencies

5. Tools & Process Improvement

  • Utilize project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet or Jira to manage workflows.
  • Proactively suggest and implement improvements in project/program workflows.
  • Support system and software change requests related to supply chain and project tools


Job Requirement:

  • Diploma in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
  • 2 – 4 years in project/program management, preferably in supply chain, engineering or manufacturing environments.
  • PMP or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint or other project management platforms.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive outcomes in a matrix organization.
  • Experience in cost modelling, RFQ handling or supply chain systems a plus.
