Project Procurement Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • Compile material needs (internal and external) based on technical team inputs.
  • Define sourcing strategies considering global and local constraints.
  • Apply sourcing procedures and follow-up processes (quality, finance, DoA, PoA).
  • Proactively manage BOM availability and associated obsolescence plans with product and solution owners.
  • Understand and challenge technical inputs to improve cost and lead time.
  • Ensure stock levels align with the industrial strategy of the regional center/operations, updating industrial planning accordingly.
  • Supervise cash flow related to material orders and minimize warehouse stock duration. Support project closure to clean and close the hard inventory.
  • Maintain an overview of project and supplier progress, defining and agreeing on mitigation plans with procurement.
  • Coordinate with PIM and supply chain/logistics teams for generic products, ensuring timely transfer orders to participating units.
  • Ensure project-specific conditions (localization rate, financial conditions) are correctly applied.
  • Build the estimate at completion (EAC) for project managers, including risk and opportunity analysis.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data inputs for QCD commitments from project contributors.
  • Monitor development and industrialization of new/modified generic products to ensure coherence with project schedules and coordinate mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate repairs and retrofit plans during project execution for material parts of the industrial work package.
