Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement & Supply Chain leader for the International zone. You will drive demand planning, supplier coordination, and logistics support to deliver complex projects with IG accountability and strong governance.

The role reports to the Regional Procurement & Supply Chain Leader - International. You will build relationships with factories, manage risks, and lead process improvements across procurement functions while enabling sustainable,

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree, technical preferred; Masters degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of project delivery experience with large, complex projects.
  • 3–5 years of direct people leadership experience.
  • Experience in tenders is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Schneider Electric IG factories and GSC supply chain methodologies is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Demand Planning: align SIOP with intra-group stakeholders and manage the process.
  • Build regular cadence with key factories and plants in the International region.
  • Provide operational support, track delivery schedules, and escalate risks.
  • Drive process excellence and ensure adherence to procurement standards.
  • Develop procurement and supply chain capabilities through training and collaboration.
  • Define procurement strategy for business units with suitable partnerships.
  • Manage IG strategy and collaborate across internal factories for project needs.
  • Coordinate with Logistics to meet customer requirements.
  • Foster accountability, ethics, and continuous capability development.

Job description

Our mission is to lead and execute procurement and supply chain activities for all projects within the International Zone, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and full compliance with company standards.

We focus on operational excellence through purchase order management, supplier coordination, logistics support, and issue resolution to enable smooth project delivery. By driving continuous improvement and leveraging digital tools, we create resilient, ethical, and agile supply chains that maximize efficiency and support sustainable business growth.

This position reports hierarchically to the Regional Procurement & Supply Chain Leader - International.

Scope
  • Projects delivered in International zone, full IG accountability
  • All Large Tenders in International zone, full IG and coordination of OG scopes
Delegations of Authority
  • Authority to drive the operation of the IG Demand Planning, SIOP, across International for all GSC and ETO plants that we engage with.
  • Authority to liason with the Zone Procurement leaders as required to deliver logistics, OG and IG escalation support
Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning
  • Ensure that the SIOP and Demand Planning with all Intra group teams are well aligned and managed with the stakeholders.
  • Setting up of the process, engagement and management of all key stakeholders
Building IG Relationships
  • Build regular cadence with all key factories and plants supporting International region and conduct regular business reviews with them
Operational Support and risk management
  • Track delivery schedules, resolve day-to-day procurement issues, and escale risks as needed.
  • Strengthen risk management across suppliers and logistics ensuring resilience and continuity for projects as necessary.
Process Excellence
  • Ensure adherence to procurement processes, documentation standards, and support Digital and process improvement initiatives drives for the zone.
Talent Development & Collaboration
  • Develop procurement and supply chain capabilities through training and upskilling.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation and performance.
  • Healthy succession planning and resilience of teams.
Drive procurement strategy
  • Identify the needs of the Business units to define the procurement strategy with the right partnerships and right coverage.
  • We customize the regional initiatives to the zone level of maturity of our own area.
IG Strategy and management
  • Develop the network with internal factories to manage the needs of projects and BU to be able to plan and delivery to warranty the smooth execution
Logistic
  • Work closely with the Logistics teams to ensure best viable solution for customer requirements
Foster a culture of accountability and excellence
  • Champion operational discipline, ethical practices, and continuous capability development.
KPIs
  • Set the relevant KPI´s at Program levels in alignment with Regional, Business and compliance needs .
Quality, Safety, Cybersecurity and compliance
  • Ensuring that all Supply Chain activities are conducted in accordance with applicable SE governance rules and methods, and in accordance with recognized state-of-the-art practices in the field of project procurement.
  • This implies being responsible for ensuring that:
    • Applicable tools and methodologies are state-of-the-art and actually in use whereby safety, quality and technical capabilities are part of the supplier selection criteria.
    • Purchasing performance KPIs and improvement plans are issued, developed, tracked, and are reported monthly.
    • Cost of non quality related to subcontractors are well understood and lessons learned derived out of issues identified.
    • HSE guidelines are followed by our subcontractors specially for on-site activities
    • Cybersecurity guidelines are followed by our subcontractors
Education
  • Bachelors Degree, technical preferred, Masters degree is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum 10 years in Project delivery, managing large scale & complex projects / managing project procurement and 3-5 years with direct reportees
  • Experience in tender is a plus
  • Knowledge of Schneider's IG factories, GSC Supply chain methodologies etc., is a plus
  • Cross functional and cross border experience is a positive
