Job summary
A leading company in the drilling sector seeks a Procurement Specialist to enhance procurement capabilities for major renovation and relocation projects in Singapore. The role focuses on managing end-to-end procurement processes while mentoring team members and optimizing coordination with project teams.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of relevant procurement experience, with 3 years in sourcing and category management.
- Experience with overseas construction projects is a plus.
- Ability to mentor and develop procurement professionals.

Responsibilities
- Provide procurement expertise for construction and renovation, ensuring adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
- Advise project teams on procurement planning and best practices for relocation.
- Manage procurement processes end-to-end, not excluding preparing tender documentation and utilizing e-procurement systems such as GeBIZ
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and project director to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.
- Mentor and guide team members to enhance overall procurement capability and support continuous improvement.
Contribute to ad-hoc procurement-related initiatives and organizational projects as needed
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant procurement experience, including at least 3 years in sourcing and category management for major renovation or relocation projects.
- Experience in handling overseas construction projects would be an added advantage
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across departments and deliver results within timelines and resource constraints.
- Experience mentoring or developing procurement professionals is a plus.
- Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Able to multi task and work independently
