Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with project and engineering teams to plan what materials and equipment are needed for the project.
- Find suitable suppliers and get quotes for materials, equipment, and services.
- Compare offers, negotiate prices, and select the best suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery time.
- Prepare purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Keep track of delivery schedules and resolve any delays or issues with suppliers.
- Make sure all purchases follow company rules and project requirements.
- Keep proper records of orders, contracts, and supplier communications.
- Monitor procurement costs and help stay within the project budget.
- Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and quality teams for receiving and checking materials.
- Provide regular updates to the project team on procurement status.
- Completion of other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 3–6 years of procurement experience in the chemical, petrochemical, or manufacturing sector.
- Knowledge of chemical process equipment, piping, instrumentation, and related standards.
- Familiarity with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project workflows is a plus, a PMP certificate is preferred.
- Understanding of the chemical, lithium, metallurgy, and marine oil industries, as well as other related industries, and the ability to manage the upstream and downstream supply chains.
- Proactive with a strong sense of responsibility and self-restraint. Able to work independently and withstand pressure. Enthusiastic and cooperative. Spirit.
