Job description

Working Conditions
  • Working Days: 5 Days A Week (Monday - Friday), 8.30am to 5.30pm
  • Office Location: 1 Coleman St, The Adelphi (City Hall)
  • Salary Range: $6000 to $7000
Requirements

Minimum 12 years of experience in construction site work and planning work.

Roles & Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate with the Costing Department, M&E department, and Business department on tender requirements.
  2. Collaborate with construction department staff on tender planning and EHS matters.
  3. Assist and attend subcontractor/supplier workshop meetings related to tenders and prepare necessary documentation.
  4. Ensure proposed planning aligns with drawings, specifications, and authority requirements.
  5. Create suitable Microsoft Project schedules (or equivalent) for tender projects, showing work sequences from start to TOP.
  6. Study and propose feasible Temporary Site Facilities, including alternatives.
  7. Propose suitable construction sequences for Structural and Architectural works, considering authority requirements and contract specifications.
  8. Develop cost-effective ERSS proposals for the costing department.
  9. Provide technical support to the tender team for queries from consultants.
  10. Estimate manpower and resources required for tender projects.
  11. Collaborate with the Project team on proposals during tender stage post-successful tender.
  12. Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings, highlighting discrepancies, value engineering opportunities, or key items for the tender team.
  13. Participate in safety site inspections to monitor safety standards and workmanship.
  14. Proficiently use software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
  15. Review construction previews submitted by the project team and coordinate with them for Japan HQ approval.
  16. Assist office management in improving site EHS standards.
