Job summary

Nanyang Technological University Singapore’s School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences is hiring a Project Officer to support a research project on LEAN4 integration in university mathematics teaching and course materials.

You will work with the Principal Investigator to design educational interventions, collect data, perform statistical analyses, and contribute to publications, while developing teaching materials incorporating LEAN4.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, CS, Statistics, or related field.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Experience designing, conducting, and analysing statistical studies or educational trials.
• Experience publishing in pedagogy or mathematics education or related educational research.
• Familiarity with LEAN4, formal verification, mathematics education or educational technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and implementing studies evaluating LEAN4 integration into mathematics teaching.
• Coordinate data collection from classroom activities, surveys, assessments, and other research instruments.
• Perform statistical analyses to evaluate intervention effectiveness.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and manuscripts for publication in educational journals.
• Support development and refinement of teaching materials incorporating LEAN4.
• Perform other research-related duties as required.
