The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) is looking for a talented and enthusiastic project officer to join our research team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative projects at the intersection of bacterial detection and device development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing bacterial labeling and microbiological assays

  • Responsible for multiplexed detection of bacteria based on fluorescence microarrays and/or microplates

  • Work in the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, a new interdisciplinary school at NTU

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in biomedical engineering or closely relevant research training

  • Must have lab skills for biosensing, fluorescence detection and development of bioanalytical devices

  • Responsible for design, investigation, and optimization

  • Research experience in research and development of diagnostic devices and microfluidic devices

  • Good track record of scientific research
