Job description

Overall Job Purpose

The role supports Sales, Business & Channels Development by driving operational excellence and digital transformation. The incumbent collaborates across teams to implement operating model improvements, develop digital servicing strategies, and lead project management initiatives. They partner with IT to co-lead stakeholder engagements, shape change management programmes, and drive strategic vision. Using data-driven approaches, they deliver transformational projects, particularly within B2B teams. The role requires expertise in both traditional and Agile project management methodologies, as well as knowledge of system programming languages. Key responsibilities include monitoring progress, resolving issues, and preparing materials for senior management, ensuring successful project delivery and organizational growth.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales, Business & Channels Development leads in monitoring project progress and updates.

  • Collaborate with the business team to implement operating model improvements, including planning and managing internal workflows, and assisting in the development and introduction of relevant frameworks to identify and deliver opportunities for productivity, cost reduction, and improved guest experience and engagement.

  • Work with internal and external functional teams to define, review, and execute the digital servicing strategy and roadmap.

  • Collaborate with the IT team to co-lead project briefs, manage kick-off briefings/project meetings, document minutes, scope work, and establish timelines and budgets.

  • Partner with the IT team to co-lead stakeholder engagements across business, operations, and technology to shape and drive strategic change management programs, processes, and governance within the organization’s vision.

  • Deliver projects/deliverables based on a data-driven and analytical approach, utilizing empirical data, developing hypotheses, conducting engagements, and driving insights towards actual implementation.

  • Provide hands-on support for transformational journeys within B2B Business teams and across markets (Travel Agents, Corporate, MICE, Island Partners).

  • Assist business teams in identifying and resolving issues and roadblocks, escalating issues when necessary, and providing regular progress updates to senior management.

  • Prepare materials for project sponsors, steering committees, and management discussions.

  • Proficient in both Traditional Project Management Lifecycle and Agile Methodology, including managing project scope, sprints, quality, milestones, and reporting.

  • Possess knowledge of system programming languages.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Tourism/Hospitality, Computer science or equivalent.

  • [Advantage] Certified in Business Analyst (CBAP), project management (PMP), Scrum Product Owner or Scrum Master

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Implementations of application projects in roles as business analyst, project manager, scrum product owner

  • Enterprise level applications, e-commerce platforms (B2B/B2C/O2O), attractions, ticketing systems
