About the job:

As a Manager/Management Consultant, you will acquire first-hand consulting experience in the banking industry, build knowledge on a wide range of companies, and apply project management best practices in a fast-paced and intellectually challenging work environment.

You will play a key role in building trusted client relationships through high quality deliverables and leveraging our industry expertise. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end technology implementation projects, including core banking system upgrades, digital transformation initiatives and regulatory technology projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Ensure projects adhere to banking regulations, data security policies, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
• Facilitate communication between business units, IT teams, third-party vendors, and senior management.
• Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks and issues to ensure project success.
• Manage project governance, documentation, and reporting to ensure transparency and alignment with business objectives.
• Utilize Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies to drive project efficiency and adaptability.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success and implement lessons learned.
• Oversee project resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure effective delivery.
• Provide regular project updates, including progress reports, risk assessments, and impact analysis to key stakeholders.

About you:

• Degree holder.
• At least 7 years of project management experience in banking, regulatory reporting, data, or finance transformation.
• Strong understanding of MAS 610, regulatory data models, WASAMAX, and BNIM (Malaysia) reporting.
• Experience with Oracle Financials, expense data flows, and FTP concepts.
• Exposure to AI/ML solutions in banking (credit, origination, servicing) preferred.
• Proven track record managing large-scale data and regulatory projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management, vendor leadership, and communication skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certifications or equivalent are advantageous.
