Key responsibilities of this position include:
- Cultivate and build long term relationships with senior executive clients (i.e., C-suite, Business heads, VPs) of companies in the Financial Services Sector (Payment's transformation)
- Perform as a subject matter expert for payment solutions transformation programs and advise, shape and provide solutions to business challenges presented by the client.
- Lead a team of consultants and business analysts for the end-to-end payment transformation program for Asia-pacific and cross-border payment schemes with minimal oversight.
- Collaborate with Business units, Operation Units, Technology partners in ensuring end-to-end system and process delivery
- Work closely with the payments practice lead, developing payment offerings and supporting the Go to market plan.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience of working in either payments strategy or operations team or in a consulting firm with credentials of having delivered transformation projects
- Deep understanding of the Asia-Pacific and cross-border payment schemes.
- Proven ability to define and deliver solutions in Finastra Global Pay Plus or other similar products with 8-10 years of experience with specialization in Payment implementations, with exposure to methodologies and frameworks for business analysis
- Proven experience in consulting services in business, IT, digital or acquisition across the payment ecosystem
- Experience in Payment & Settlement Systems with solid domain knowledge of Asia Pacific payment systems for domestic payments (e.g. RTGS, NEFT, ACH, CITAD, G3 Fast, Payroll etc.) and cross-border payments
- Excellent Knowledge of ISO20022 payment standards and SWIFT messages.
- Experience in Payments, including digital and traditional payments, national and cross-border, ATMs and EFTPOS, and Corporate and Financial Institution Payments.
- Excellent knowledge of MT 1xx series, MT 940/MT 942, ISO 20022 and local file formats, and payment hub implementation experience
- Ability to engage the clients on their important and challenging business issues
- Ability to build strong relationships at the senior management level
- Strong critical thinking skills, analytical abilities, and the capacity for creative thinking to solve relevant client problems and issues
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills in English - verbal and written.
