Job Description Summary

The incumbent will take on an active role in the overall management of the projects and serve as a single point of contact in co-ordination with and consultation with the Customer’s Representative.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Overall management and co-ordination of the project

  • Serve as a single point of contact in co-ordination with and consultation with the Customer’s Representative

  • Deemed as the Contractor’s agent in all dealings with the Customer

  • Be accountable to the Customer as the Contractor’s agent, for all aspects of the design, development, delivery, installation, integration, migration, testing, implementation, operations and maintenance services of the System

  • Co-ordinate project activities with the Customer, existing vendors and other parties as indicated by the Customer

  • Communicate at all levels with the project/management organization and work with teams within the project to resolve project and interface issues.

  • Arrange for, co-ordinate and document project progress meetings and system change management meetings

  • Prepare and submit progress reports

  • Prepare and submit detailed implementation plans and schedules

  • Manage changes within project constraints, e.g. scope, resource and schedule

  • Plan and allocate resources proactively to ensure timely delivery of the System in accordance with the project schedule

  • Take stock and track documentation, hardware and software supplied for the delivery of systems and services

  • Manage project risks

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology

  • Successfully managed and implemented at least 2 projects for past 5 years

  • Good command of English (Conversational, Written and Reading)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Knowledge of financial accounting (GL, Billing, AR etc).

  • Understand Cyber Security and best practices.

  • Able to manage local and overseas projects

  • Project Management certification (PMP) will be added advantage

  • Contract / Commercial Law courses will be added advantage

  • Experience in implementing fare collection system, mobility payment solutions or similar systems will be highly encouraged to apply.

Reporting Relationship

  • The incumbent reports to Assistant Vice President, MPS, Mobility Rail
