Qualifications

• Five or more years of relevant experience in enterprise IT and network infrastructure.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for operations and maintenance of ICT infrastructure.
• Ensure meeting of application requirements and business needs, compliance with Government’s policies, standards, and procedures.
• Enhance the security and monitoring of networks and applications.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend technical solutions that are cost effective and meet requirements, for the above.
• Procure the identified solutions by putting up budget papers and technical specifications.
• Plan and manage the progress and budget of projects and resolve arising issues so as to ensure the timely completion of the projects as scheduled.
• Manage and monitor the performance of the vendors engaged for the projects to ensure their contractual and Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance, and to take appropriate corrective actions in cases of poor performance.

Qualification and Skillset

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Security byDesign or its equivalent.
• Five (5) years or more of relevant work experience, preferably in enterprise IT and network infrastructure,
• Mobile/wireless technology, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing and cloud security.
• Prior experience working in data centres and security operation rooms will be an added advantage.
• Possess relevant industry certifications like CISSP, CISM, SANS or GSEC.
• Possess crisis leadership and project management skills.
• Possess strong analytical and trouble-shooting abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and manage various project simultaneously
• Familiarity with Government Finance / Procurement Process, IM8 requirements and best practices nformation Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).

• Possess good written, presentation and communication skills.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) and/or Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) or equivalent will be an added advantage.
