Industrial Automation Project Manager

Onsite, West

Role Overview

Lead automated manufacturing capabilities as a key expert, collaborating with automation engineers to leverage technology that improves, streamlines, and automates manufacturing processes. Plan, implement, and monitor technological solutions while managing OT roadmap innovation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with international teams to share best practices and global standards
• Interface with corporate areas and prepare technical documents, presentations, and reports
• Lead automation OT roadmap innovation discussions and benchmark emerging OT automation technologies
• Manage OT and automation activities and execution with operating units
• Map and develop local and regional vendors to support implementation processes
• Define infrastructure and architecture of networks with IT/OT network segregation
• Integrate and enable data communication between network layers following cybersecurity protocols
• Explore and implement new ways to automate systems
• Design and test automation equipment and processes
• Define wireless OT network and communication protocols for connectivity
• Interact with process historians for communications and data analysis
• Work with communication protocols (Profibus, OPC UA/DA, Profinet, etc.)
• Monitor projects involving ICS and Industry 4.0 updates
• Collaborate with industrial and IT teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science OR 10+ years of Automation Controls experience
• 8+ years engineering experience in industrial environment
• 5+ years project management experience
• 5+ years automation experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership abilities
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel Advanced, Tableau, Power BI

• Experience managing projects for accelerated sites
• Knowledge of cybersecurity protocols for industrial environments
