Job description

Contract Duration: 12 months

As a Project Manager, you will work in a Government Agency as a key member of the project team. You will support the Chief Information Officer at the Agency and collaborate with fellow business analysts, solution architects and technical services consultants to deliver leading-edge digital solutions. You are a pro-active, self-motivated and resourceful team member with good tech/digital knowledge and possess strong influencing and people handling skills. You are also adept at balancing multiple projects concurrently while constantly looking for new ways to apply digital technologies to meet identified Agency and citizen/business needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation to closure

• develop and maintain project plans, drive implementation, conduct status updates, identify and mitigate risks and facilitate issues resolution

• co-ordinate with stakeholders, vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.

• conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders

• monitor project budgets and ensure cost efficiency

• Identify potential project risks and the implications to the organization and to recommend mitigating measures

• to understand the IT management policy, quality management policy as well as security policy and standards to ensure that the development processes, procedures and systems are designed in compliance to these policies and standards

• build deep knowledge of Agency’s business and operations and identify opportunities to support the transformation of Agency’s business / operation

What we are looking for:

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Infocomm Technology, Computer or related disciplines

At least 4 years of relevant work experience in IT project management, business analysis and application development

• Strong portfolio that demonstrates proven, hands-on experience working in Agile approach on Product-centric teams

• Strong analytical, conceptualization and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to present clearly both verbally and in written form

• Candidates with experience in handling projects involving AWS Cloud, Design Thinking will an added advantage.

• Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills with ability to influence and pitch ideas

• A driven and motivated personality with the ability to rapidly learn, apply and execute
