About the role

My Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic teamd. They are located in the Kaki Bukit East Region. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of engineering projects, with a focus on Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical & Low Voltage (ELV) systems.

What you'll be doing

• Analyse risks across project portfolio in accordance with organisational risk management policies and processes.

• Collaborate with Quality Assurance department to support claims, oversee and ensure final acceptance by client.

• Define project scope, objectives budget and outcomes.

• Deliver regular constructive feedback in order to promote employee development.

• Establish improvements to project management functions and organisational processes and procedures.

• Evaluate effectiveness of quality assurance and control procedures.

• Evaluate implications of project review findings and discussion topics on project management functions and organisational processes and procedures.

• Evaluate warranty claims and assess impact on project.

• Formulate project review policies and procedures.

• Identify areas of technical and business management training development.

• Lead the implementation of risk mitigation initiatives.

• Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with project budget.

• Oversee resource needs and usage for all projects.

• Review variation orders to determine impact on project timelines and resources.

• Support the formulation of Quality Assurance (QA) procedures in collaboration with QA department.

• Support the formulation of the organisation's project risks policies and mitigation strategies by coordinating with Risk Management department

• Work with QA department to oversee quality testing activities.

• Monitoring of defect rectification during the defects liability period.

Monitoring of receipt of all necessary as-built drawings, operation and repair manuals, and all guarantees and warranties by the Consultants to Client.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the engineering industry, with a focus on BMS and ELV systems

2. Strong technical understanding of building automation systems, electrical and low-voltage systems, and project management principles

3. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects within budget and timeline constraints

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams

5. Proficient in project management tools and software, such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar

6. Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

7. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent
