Company Description:

Durapower has close to 15 years in operations and is a company identified by Enterprise Singapore to scale up for growth. We have projects in the Netherlands, Singapore, Thailand, and Southeast Asia regions, with production in China. There is no manufacturing here, but we have an R&D team liaising with China. Our expansion is enhanced by the stakes and investment in us through Banpu Next (Banpu Group), which is listed on the Thailand Stock Exchange.

Job Title: Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Set project timeline and keep projects on track.
  • Monitor project deliverables and update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress.
  • Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them.
  • Schedule tasks and coordinate with various team members to accomplish project objectives.
  • Manage project budget and resource allocation.
  • Interact regularly with existing and potential clients to determine needs and develop plans for improving delivery.
  • Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes where needed.
  • Resolve and assist in the resolution of conflicts among different stakeholders.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering Disciplines with adequate exposure background in site electrical work.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Electrical System Interconnection and Technical References.
  • Proven track record in project management, including experience in budget control, project scheduling, operation of a fabrication workshop, and conducting feasibility studies for project proposals.
  • PMP certification is preferred but not a must; in lieu, a critical pathway-centric approach to project management will take precedence.
  • Experience leading and managing teams effectively and robustly.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
  • Good foundational engineering background, with a focus on automotive and/or power engineering being a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to converse both in English & Mandarin for liaison with Durapower's Chinese subsidiary in Suzhou.
