Job summary

Ikas International (Asia) Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced cybersecurity program leader to oversee a portfolio across APAC, coordinating global and regional teams to deliver on time and within budget. You will drive governance, risk management and KPI improvements while presenting strategic updates to senior management.

The role requires 8+ years in security programs, strong stakeholder management, and proficiency with MS Office tools; banking/FS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years delivering cybersecurity projects in MNC, banking, consulting or tech.
• Experience coordinating programs with regional and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Banking/financial services sector experience preferred.
• Strong governance, resource and financial planning skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and senior management communication.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven risk and opportunity insights.
• PMP or equivalent preferred; CISSP/CISM/CISA advantageous.
• Advanced MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Outlook).
• Exposure to AI or ML in cybersecurity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of cybersecurity projects across APAC, covering planning, execution, governance and transition to operations.

• Coordinate with global, regional and local IT/Security teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Track project progress, risks, issues, dependencies and priorities, and provide regular updates to senior management.

• Prepare and present strategic updates to regional management and governance committees.

• Manage project resources, budgets and financial planning, including hiring and onboarding of project resources.

• Work with APAC and local technology teams to identify KPI gaps and drive improvement initiatives.

• Support cybersecurity-related departmental initiatives, including budget planning and technology/tool roll-outs.

Skills Needed

• 8+ years of experience delivering cybersecurity, information security or security-focused projects/programs within an MNC, banking, consulting or technology environment.

• Strong experience managing programs involving multiple regional and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector is preferred.

• Good understanding of cybersecurity activities and security project delivery.

• Strong project governance, resource management and financial planning skills.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills, including experience engaging senior management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, gaps and opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations.

• PMP or equivalent certification is preferred; CISSP, CISM or CISA is an advantage.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint and Outlook.

• Exposure to AI or machine-learning applications in cybersecurity is an advantage.
