Job summary

A leading company in construction management is looking for a Project Manager to oversee and drive project objectives. Candidates should have a Civil Engineering degree and experience in PUB(WRN) projects, ensuring compliance and efficiency in operations. The role involves significant responsibility in managing project timelines and resources to meet client expectations while minimizing waste.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent recognized by PEB.
• Experience in leading teams or subcontractors advantageous.
• More than 5 years in PUB(WRN) projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical and non-technical issues as a Project Manager.
• Monitor site progress, materials, and equipment effectively.

Job description

• Working Days: 6days, Monday - Saturday
• Working Timing: 0830am - 530pm
• Office Location: Kranji - Sungai Kadut
• Salary range: $6000 - $9000

Project Management

• To resolve all technical and non-technical issues.
• To ensure the tracking and monitoring of items per contractual requirement.
• Responsible for submission and monitoring of technical drawings, method statements and proposals.
• To ensure construction meeting client & regulatory requirements.
• To carry out short-term planning to meet site progress.
• To co-ordinate, program and monitor site work, materials, plant & equipment.
• Carry out project objectives to align with company goals.
• Reduce material wastages on site and maximise usage of machineries/equipment.
• To control the allocated direct workforce effectively i.e. no. of direct workers and overtime etc.
• Follow approved construction method that is cost effective, productive & without compromising on Quality.
• Meet targeted progress of works so as to achieve the intended cash flow.

Technical Understanding

• Understands the drawings and scope of works
• Understand the implications of different technical choices so as to meet the project objectives.
• Involving in providing value engineering solutions basing on his knowledge.
• To have knowledge in the preparation of engineering project proposals and method statements.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent (Recognized by PEB).
• Experience in leading a team or subcontractors would be advantageous.
• Versed in PUB(WRN) projects with more than 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is an advantage.
