Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Project Manager (Cash Management) to lead end-to-end delivery for strategic initiatives in the banking and financial services sector. You will help ensure stable, resilient, and efficient production environments across payments, SWIFT, and cash management activities.

The role requires 10–12 years of project management experience in banking/financial services, strong budgeting and reporting skills, and proficiency with Agile or SDLC frameworks, JIRA, Confluence, and

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in IT, Finance, Business, Engineering or related field.
  • 10–12 years of project management experience in banking, financial services, cash management or payments.
  • Experience with project planning, budgeting, estimations, delivery coordination, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and tax reporting topics (AEOI/CRS, FATCA, IRS871m) and tax reporting.
  • Experience with SIT, UAT, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall; using JIRA, Confluence, Teams, Clarity.
  • CSM or PMP certification is a plus.

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery in line with objectives, timelines, and commitments.
  • Coordinate project committees and define deliverables, priorities, estimates, and planning.
  • Prepare, consolidate, and validate estimates, schedules, and budget follow-up.
  • Manage capacity planning and resource allocation per project needs.
  • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, security, architects, compliance, and other teams.
  • Support requirements gathering and smooth handover to business analysis.
  • Review testing strategy and results to ensure delivery quality.
  • Manage release planning, delivery follow-up, reporting, and governance under Agile/SDLC.

Join Amaris Consulting as a Project Manager (Cash Management)and contribute to strategic projects within the banking and financial services sector. You will support a dynamic organization responsible for ensuring stable, resilient, and efficient production environments across payments, SWIFT, and cash management activities.

ABOUT THE JOB
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery in line with business objectives, timelines, and commitments.
  • Coordinate project committees and work closely with project teams to define deliverables, priorities, estimates, and planning.
  • Prepare, consolidate, and validate project estimates, schedules, and budget follow-up throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project capacity planning and resource allocation according to project needs.
  • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, security teams, solution architects, compliance teams, and other transversal teams.
  • Support business requirement gathering and ensure clear handover to business analysis teams for functional specification preparation.
  • Review testing strategy, test cases, and results with business analysis and testing teams to ensure delivery quality.
  • Manage release planning, delivery follow-up, reporting, and project governance in line with Agile or SDLC frameworks.
ABOUT YOU
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience of 10 to 12 years in project management within banking, financial services, cash management, payments, or related environments.
  • Experience with project planning, budgeting, estimations, delivery coordination, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and tax reporting topics such as Tax Regulatory, Performance topics, German Tax Reporting, Client Tax Statement Reporting, AEOI/CRS, FATCA, or IRS871m.
  • Knowledge of transactions, corporate actions, securities, market data providers, reporting systems, core banking systems, or front-office applications.
  • Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, IT architecture principles, IT security concepts, batch processing, data warehouses, and release management tools is a plus.
  • Experience with SIT, non-regression testing, UAT coordination, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, Clarity, or similar tools.
  • CSM or PMP certification is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset, adaptability, teamwork, client focus, and communication skills are demonstrated in complex project environments.
