Project Manager-Audio/Visual

Overview

This role is responsible for providing concept AV design according to the user's requirements, verifying the BOM and designs supplied by AV consultants and vendors for each project, managing the Tender procedures, selecting vendors, executing the project, handing over, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Management: Develop design, manage, and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate with architects, engineers, construction teams, and IT staff to ensure the seamless integration of IT systems in building designs. In collaboration with stakeholders, define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
2. Stakeholder Management: Liaises with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment on project objectives. Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders to communicate progress, challenges, and solutions.
3. Resource Management: Effectively allocate resources to meet project milestones. Manage and coordinate the work of third-party contractors and vendors.
4. Quality Assurance: Implemented and oversaw quality control processes for all Tech-related aspects of building projects. Conducted post-implementation reviews to ensure project outcomes met the established goals.
5. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations. Report regularly to senior management on project progress, financial status, and any issues.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or Diploma in audio/visual engineering or related field
2. 7+ years of experience in the audio/visual field
3. Proficiency with multimedia software and digital audio/visual tools
4. Familiarity with applicable safety and quality standards
5. Coordinate the integration of new technologies and systems with existing infrastructure.
6. ICT and security system Knowledge is an added qualification.
7. PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is preferred.

Experience:

1. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in AV or IT project management, focusing on building or construction-related projects.

Skills:

1. Strong understanding of AV infrastructure design and systems integration.
2. Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and resource management.
3. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
4. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders like PMC, consultants, Main con, and Subcontractors.
6. Willing to learn new technologies.

Work Schedule:

1. 5.5 days of work week
2. Location is Punggol, Singapore.
3. The candidate needs to travel to other SEA countries where projects are ON.
