Job description

Project Manager and Business Analyst for Core Banking Systems

What is this position about?

Project Manager / Business Analyst (PM/BA) to lead projects related to Core Banking platforms, Corporate actions processing, payments, and reconciliation systems of International Wealth Management activity in Europe and Asia.

Primary Role Responsibilities

The main missions of the PM/BA will be to:

  1. Analyze and structure projects and new requirements with all stakeholders involved to propose optimal solutions.
  2. Lead the development of functional solutions with business stakeholders and IT teams.
  3. Define solutions and implementation roadmaps with technical teams.
  4. Drive use case definitions for User Acceptance Testing with end users.
  5. Manage decision-making and analysis processes for solution validation, including architecture, IT risk, security, budget, and capacity planning.
  6. Coordinate project implementation and ensure adherence to WMIS governance.
  7. Enhance IT tool functionality and operational processes impacted.
  8. Ensure new solutions adhere to WMIS standards, promoting reuse and standardization.

The PM/BA will serve as the primary contact for user representatives and handle project management tasks such as:

  1. Preliminary studies and analysis.
  2. Planning, budgeting, and follow-up.
  3. Organizing steering and project committees.
  4. Identifying and reporting risks and issues.
  5. Preparing and validating requirements and functional specifications.
  6. Coordinating cross-team efforts.
  7. Planning migration strategies and change management.
  8. Supervising UAT activities.
  9. Maintaining relationships with sponsors and stakeholders.

Other contributions include collaboration with WMIS stakeholders across locations and with external vendors, as well as engagement with other business and support teams.

What is required for you to succeed?

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, as a Project Manager or Business Analyst.
  • Strong knowledge of core banking processes, including transaction capture, settlement, and accounting.
  • Familiarity with financial products, regulatory reporting, reconciliation systems, and payment systems.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Visio, and project management tools like JIRA, ServiceNow.
  • Ability to define and analyze requirements through various methods.
  • Strong analytical skills and customer needs interpretation.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with diverse groups.
  • Ability to develop requirement specifications and collaborate on technical solutions.
