Job Summary
We are looking for strategic and hands-on leader for our banking client who understands AML/CFT systems and can manage large-scale cross-border projects.
Mandatory Skill-set:
- Bachelor's degree in Banking/Finance, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field;
- Must have at least 5 to 7 years of experience in financial crime compliance or AML system implementation in banking;
- Must have proven experience in leading teams, managing complex change initiatives, and working across multiple stakeholders;
- Strong understanding of AML/CFT regulations, risk management practices, and transaction monitoring systems;
- Ability to manage end-to-end system enhancements, from gathering requirements to implementation, training, and support;
- Good working experience in AI/ML, data analytics, data visualization, or RPA (Robotic Process Automation);
- Strong communication and presentation skills to work with regional teams and senior stakeholders;
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
Desired Skill-set:
- Knowledge of data science concepts or machine learning tools is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to oversee the rollout and enhancement of AML/CFT transaction monitoring systems;
- Serve as the subject matter expert for AML/CFT transaction monitoring tools, providing guidance during audits, regulatory reviews, and internal assessments;
- Coordinate closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver effective AML system solutions and ensure smooth project execution;
- Manage full project lifecycle activities—defining scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables—ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards;
- Deliver training and support to overseas teams, ensuring consistent understanding and usage of transaction monitoring tools across regions;
- Partner with technology teams to modernize transaction monitoring platforms, incorporating scalable and intelligent solutions to keep pace with evolving threats and regulations.
