Job description

Our esteemed client in the Engineering Industry is seeking an ACMV Project Manager to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Project Manager (ACMV/ HVAC)
• Location: Kaki Bukit
• Working Hours: 5.25 days (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm; Alternate Saturday, 9am to 1pm)
• Salary Package: Up to $9,500 + Incentives + Variable Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage onsite operations, vendors, subcontractors, and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensure efficient project execution and resolution of challenges.
• Define ACMV project scope, goals, and deliverables with the Director.
• Build detailed timelines, resource plans, and budgets to keep works on target.
  Track milestones with the Senior Project Manager and resolve schedule slippage quickly.
• Direct subcontractors and site crews while liaising with clients, authorities, and consultants to clear roadblocks.
• Enforce all safety, legal, environmental, and industry standards.
• Issue clear status reports to clients, management, and project teams.
• Anticipate risks, conduct site inspections, and promptly resolve technical or quality issues.
• Maintain concise site reports, logging progress, variances, and safety assessments.

Job Requirements:

• Holds a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in HVAC/ACMV projects, covering both engineering and project management functions.
• Well-versed in the installation and coordination of systems such as chilled water pump, VRV, and VRF.
• Possesses strong technical expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and proficient with relevant engineering and project planning software.
• Deep understanding of HVAC engineering concepts, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance.
• Experienced in applying project management tools and methodologies to drive timely and effective project delivery.
