An established industry player is seeking a skilled M&E Engineer to oversee mechanical and electrical works on-site. This role involves managing all M&E activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and driving innovative practices to enhance productivity. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering and at least four years of experience with a main contractor. Responsibilities :
Reporting to the Project Manager/ Project Director/ Business Unit Head
Manage all M&E works and issues at site in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications
Conduct periodic inspections for all M&E systems
Ensure all M&E and related works carried out by sub-contractor are planned and executed to the requirements of the project
Manage the procurement of equipment and labour according to the allocated budget
Deployment and storage of M&E materials and equipment delivered by subcontractors
Prepare method statement, shop drawings, installation/ T&C check sheets, work
progress report and other relevant documents for M&E related works with project team
Liaise with consultants, clients and subcontractors on M&E works progress, coordination and decisions
Drive the implementation of innovative M&E initiatives and practices on site to improve productivity and achieve lean outcome
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 4 years of working experience in Main Contractor involving M&E works
Good safety knowledge and attitude
Ability to liaise with statutory authorities
Working Days: 6 days work week
