Job Summary

Project Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of customer-focused and cross-functional projects, including new product introductions (NPI), engineering changes (ECN), and RFQ/costing processes. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects on time and within budget, while ensuring alignment with internal processes and customer expectations. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, technical, and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities

1.Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead kick-off meetings and manage project tracking sheets for all awarded programs.
  • Oversee the timely submission of NPI, ECN, and PPAP samples in alignment with customer requirements and internal timelines.
  • Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables across all phases (APQP Phase 1–6) to ensure flawless project execution.

2.Costing & RFQ Management

  • Supervise project costing activities, including the preparation and submission of RFQ costing sheets for management review.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Engineering to gather accurate BOMs, 2D/3D drawings, AVL data, and manufacturing process details for project estimation.
  • Oversee distribution and follow-up of RFQs to relevant teams, ensuring timely completion of tasks related to raw materials, fabrication, finishing, hardware, DFM/DFA, NRE, CMS, and EBITDA/GP analysis.

3.Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Provide direction and oversight to the project management and costing team, ensuring tasks are executed effectively and deadlines are met.
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination between design, sourcing, production, and quality teams for NPI and ECN projects.
  • Review, approve, and escalate key project milestones, risks, and mitigation plans as needed.

4.Process Assurance & Quality Control

  • Ensure compliance with APQP and internal process standards from project initiation to final delivery.
  • Support quality and process improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve customer satisfaction.

5.Reporting & Documentation

  • Ensure accurate documentation of costing sheets, project timelines, and change management records.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting to senior leadership on project status, risks, costing variances, and recommendations for improvement.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field; PMP certification preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, NPI coordination, or cost estimation within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proven experience managing APQP/NPI processes, RFQs, and cross-functional project teams.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Ms Excel), and ERP systems.
