Job summary

A leading IT solutions provider in Singapore seeks an experienced Project Manager to establish PMO roles, manage project reporting, and train project managers. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years in the IT/Telecom sector, strong skills in cross-functional collaboration, and relevant certifications. Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

  • Join the Project Management Office and assists in the establishment PMO roles and responsibilities, as well as operating model.
  • Handle overall project monitoring and reporting.
  • Set standards and operational structure for Project Management.
  • Manage, train and nature a team of project managers for projects.
  • Collaborate with the presales team and SME for presales services costing and ensure all project services profitability during delivery and implementation.
  • Engage as a project manager in turnkey solution implementations for ANTlabs product and professional services, and ensure all projects are delivered in accordance to the established PMO guidelines and requirements.
  • Work with operations team to ensure timely handover of projects and provide the necessary support in the event of any escalations and outages.
  • Work with all stakeholders to manage HQ and remote shared implementation engineers.
  • Establish the costing, justifications, and services terms & conditions.
  • Participate in contract review and negotiations.

Requirements

  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects independently without any supervision.
  • Ability to work with multiple teams and stakeholders, both local and remote, involving implementation, engineering, product and operations to deploy robust and critical services.
  • Ability to handle customer workshops and meetings, project kick-off and review, training and documentation as part of project delivery.
  • Ability to estimate, justify and manage project costing and schedule, budget, scope, variable orders and change requests.

Ideal Candidate

  • Project Management experience in a product vendor, service provider, system integrator, or valued-added distributor.
  • At least 5 years working experience in the IT/Telecom industry.
  • Cross-functional experience in presales, planning, deployment, and/or support operations role.
  • Familiarity with project implementation of core network systems in carrier broadband, mobile networks, cloud services or large-scale infrastructure.
  • Technical knowledge and hands on experience of RedHat Linux based systems, AAA, DDI, O&M, open-source systems.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, CSM, PSM or equivalent certifications.
