Job summary
A leading company in the construction industry is seeking a Project Manager to oversee building projects in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and at least 5 years of experience managing construction activities. This role involves planning, scheduling, and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in execution of building works.
- Knowledge of statutory requirements and compliance.

- Plan and control projects including scheduling, cost control, and handling complaints.

Main Responsibilities
- Project planning, scheduling, including work progress, Cost Control, Variations and Change Control
- Attend to Government agencies, sub-contractors and residents on site and timely control on handling complaints, settle disputes and grievances of personnel.
- Resolve technical problems encountered during the construction period.
- Manage project team members to comply with project requirements and meet project schedules.
- Planning of housekeeping by coordinating responsibilities of foreign workers, site engineers / site supervisors and sub-contractors.
- Attend the project related external and internal meetings.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from recognised University or Institution.
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in execution of building works.
- Track records to show previous projects that took charge.
- Knowledge of relevant Statutory requirements and compliances.
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performances standards of Singapore.
- Good interpersonal skills to communicate with people of all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Project.
