Job description

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Responsibilities:

Overall Project Management

  1. Responsible for the overall delivery of the project in terms of quality, scope and budget.
  2. Develop and execute the overall project plan.
  3. Measure, monitor and report progress to stakeholders.
  4. Drive the data, design and solution discussions with vendor, technology team and user groups.
  5. Direct project team of internal and/or external resources to deliver results within agreed parameters.

Project Governance

  1. Ensure proper governance and impact assessment of scope creep and change requests.
  2. Organise and chair governance meetings, including preparation of meeting materials and minutes.
  3. Ensure work deliverables are in compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  4. Measure, monitor and report progress to stakeholders.

Scope Management

  1. Manage all changes to the agreed scope of work.
  2. Review and assess changes and impact to timeline & cost.
  3. Ensure all changes are approved.

Risk and Issue Management

  1. Identify and raise risks and issues affecting the project, including financial or operational, and proactively manage them, with timely escalation to relevant parties where necessary.
  2. Drive the testing strategy and manage the testing cycles, ensuring all critical and high defects are resolved within the testing cycle.

Stakeholder Management

  1. Manage relationships across all business lines and with external parties, ensuring timely delivery of assigned activities.

Requirements:

Education:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

Essentials

  1. Good and proven fundamental knowledge of Project Management.
  2. Data and Finance domain knowledge are essential for this role.
  3. Experience in delivering projects in SDLC/Agile methodologies.

Key Domain/ Technical Skills:

  1. Knowledge of Finance and Reporting.
  2. Good knowledge in MS Power Point, MS Excel, MS Project.
  3. SQL, VB, Python.
