Job summary

SATO KOGYO (S) PTE. LTD. invites a seasoned civil/structural engineer to join our Singapore project team. The role reports to the Project Director and involves assisting in planning, coordinating and controlling civil and structural works to meet schedule, budget and EHS targets.

The successful candidate will lead project teams, manage related matters and exercise strong communication and interpersonal skills, while remaining self-driven and able to work independently.

Qualifications

• A Degree in Engineering (Civil and/or Structural).
• At least twenty (20) years of practical working experience in building construction projects.
• Report to Project Director and assist in managing, planning and coordinating civil and structural works to meet time, cost, and EHS objectives.
• Manage project team and handle all project related matters.
• Able to work independently and take initiative.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job description

1. A Degree in Engineering (Civil and/or Structural) from local universities or universities recognised by the Professional Engineers Board.
2. At least twenty (20) years of practical working experience in the related field in building construction projects.
3. Report to Project Director, and assist in managing, planning and coordinating civil and structural works to meet time, cost, and EHS objectives.
4. Manage project team and handle all project related matters.
5. Positive attitude, self-motivated, initiative and responsible.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Able to work independently.
8. Type of contract : Permanent
9. Remuneration shall commensurate with qualifications and experience.
