Job Description Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing project planning, procurement, budgeting, and contract administration to ensure successful project execution. Key responsibilities include developing project briefs, advising on procurement strategies, preparing cost estimates, managing tenders, and providing technical support to clients. The role also involves leading project meetings, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing construction, repairs, and alteration projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

About the role:

  • Develop a clear project brief outlining quality, cost, and time requirements and constraints.
  • Provide advice on procurement strategies and prepare project budgets, as well as tender documents for both pre- and post-contract administration.
  • Prepare cost estimates, progress payment assessments, and final accounts.
  • Draft tender documents, evaluate received bids, and provide recommendations for contract awards.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to the Client.
  • Manage building repair, replacement, addition, alteration, and new construction projects.
  • Lead project meetings with Consultants, Contractors, and Clients.
  • Work closely with Contractors, Sub-Contractors, and site teams to ensure project success.

About you:

  • Possesses a recognized degree in a relevant field as referenced by BOA, PEB, or PSPC for quantity surveying or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management or quantity surveying within the construction industry, with experience in new builds or addition and alteration projects.
  • Strong multi-disciplinary background with expertise in planning, management, technical, and contractual aspects.
  • Effective team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
