Job summary

A construction projects management firm in Singapore is looking for a dedicated engineer to plan, execute, and deliver projects. Key Responsibilities

Responsible for planning, execution, and delivery of projects, including but not limited to;

  • Developing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinating with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless integration system.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
  • Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning, based on project requirement
  • Maintaining clear and accurate project documentation and records.
  • Managing and resolving any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, team members, & other stakeholders to keep the project on track.
  • Performing quality control checks and system validations to ensure the functionality and safe installations.
Key Tasks and Duties
  • Assess project feasibility by analyzing technology, resource needs, and market demand.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Direct and supervise the activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within the prescribed budget.
  • Provide technical advice and resolve problems to ensure that standards for quality, reliability, and safety are met.
Education and Certification Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/equivalent or related field.
  • Several years of experience in engineering or project management.
  • Good communication skills and digital literacy.
  • Good knowledge of contract law and trade documents, project management.
  • Good knowledge of distribution systems and standards.
  • Strong understanding of software (like CAD) and other design tools, relevant field.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, and standards related to engineering & construction.
