An engineering services firm in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for Bored Piling projects. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, PE certification, and over 10 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects. Key responsibilities include leading project execution, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and completion of Bored Piling construction project, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet project objectives.
Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project status, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
Prepare and present progress reports and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Ensure all construction activities adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement strategies in project management to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification recognized by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore or accreditation as a Professional Project Manager (PPM) by the Singapore Project Management Institute (SPM).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management and bored piling project.
Demonstrated experience in managing the safety and timely delivery of large-scale projects.
In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
Experience with industrial or treatment plant projects in Singapore
