Job summary

ST Engineering, a global technology, defence and engineering group, is seeking a Project Manager for its Mission Software & Services in Singapore. You will collaborate with Solution Architects, Project Managers and Technical Leads to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure within defined budgets and timelines.

You will lead cross-functional teams through planning, design, testing and deployment, manage risks, and report progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience with 4–5 years in project management.
• Experienced in all stages of the project lifecycle (planning, requirements, design, testing, rollout, transition to Ops).
• Experience in delivering information systems/infra projects.
• Understanding of data analytics concepts and ethical AI.
• Experience in defence projects is a plus.
• PM certification (PMP/CITPM/Scrum) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
• Define project scope and objectives with stakeholders and ensure feasibility.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor progress.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule and costs with proper verification.
• Measure project performance with appropriate tools.
• Report to management and escalate as needed.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships.
• Identify and manage project risks (schedule, cost, performance).
• Track progress toward short- and long-term goals; develop leadership skills.

You will be a key technology partner to our customers in the Defence sector to thrive on developing the next breakthrough for the defence and security of Singapore. Working closely with the Solution Architect, Project Manager and Technical Lead, you will be part of a development team to develop, test and deploy system/network infrastructure as part of an overall project implementation.

Qualities We Value

• Proven working experience with 4-5 years in project management would be advantageous if leading project team.
• Experienced in all stages of the project lifecycle, e.g. planning, requirements gathering, design documentation, testing, rollout and transition to Ops.
• Experience in managing information systems/infra projects
• Possess fundamental understanding of data analytics concepts and ethical artificial intelligence
• Experience in delivering projects for the defence sector will be a plus.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / CITPM/ Scrum Master certification is a plus
