Singtel x Singapore Institute of Technology have embarked on a Work-Study Programme (WSP) launched in Feb 2023. The WSP is called “The Catalyst Programme” which is a structured on-the-job (OJT) development WSP that allows Polytechnic Diploma holders to secure a full-time position with Singtel while pursuing a university honours degree in BEng Infrastructure and Systems Engineering. This programme is open to Singtel’s internal employees as well as external polytechnic diploma holders preferably from the Engineering domain. Candidates will be offered a specific role as the one shared below. Are you ready for this challenge?

Make an Impact by

  • Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of data center construction projects. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation including plans, schedules, progress status reports, and minutes of meetings. Support the project manager in tracking project progress and budget adherence.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and design teams. Present project updates and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, and assist in financial reporting.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all construction activities comply with industry standards and regulations. Participate in quality management processes to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Assist in conducting inspections and ensuring that construction meets design and quality standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies. Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies. Monitor and report on project risks and issue resolutions.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze project data and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to project management and construction processes. Analyze project data to identify trends and recommend actions.
  • Support: Provide administrative support to the project management team as needed.

  • A diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Building Services.
