We are seeking a highly skilled Project Implementation Manager to lead the end-to-end setup of a warehousing & distribution (W&D) operation for a key Life Sciences & Healthcare customer in Singapore. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless project execution, compliance with industry regulations, and successful operational go-live within the stipulated timeline and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and milestones for the W&D setup, ensuring alignment with customer and business objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal teams, customers, regulatory bodies, and third-party service providers to facilitate smooth implementation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to GDP, GxP, ISO, and other Life Sciences & Healthcare regulatory requirements for warehousing & distribution.
- Facility & Infrastructure Setup: Oversee the design, racking, material handling, and cold chain infrastructure setup as per customer specifications.
- Technology Integration: Coordinate the implementation of WMS System, EDI integration, and other digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Operational Readiness: Ensure all SOPs, work instructions, and quality assurance measures are in place before go-live.
- Risk Management & Problem Solving: Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve operational bottlenecks effectively.
- Training & Handover: Conduct training sessions for warehouse and logistics staff and ensure a smooth transition from project phase to steady-state operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP or Six Sigma certification (preferred).
- 5-10 years of experience in project implementation, warehousing, and distribution, preferably in Life Sciences & Healthcare logistics in a 3PL environment.
- Strong understanding of GDP, GxP, and cold chain logistics regulations.
- Experience in setting up new distribution centers, automated warehousing, and WMS implementation.
- Proven track record in stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and cross-functional leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehousing, transportation, and broader supply chain topics.
- Strong knowledge of the Contract Logistics Business.
- Advanced computer proficiency (MS Excel, Word, PPT, Visio).
