Job summary

A leading energy engineering company in Singapore is seeking an experienced engineer to coordinate various engineering projects. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, at least 5 years in design and project management, and strong bilingual skills in English and Mandarin. The role involves collaborating with teams and managing technical issues on-site to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• 5 years of working experience in design, construction and project management in Instrumentation and control engineering.

• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between engineering team and client technical team for compliance with project specifications.
• Manage BIM designer for cable tray, conduit, and busduct modeling.
• Prepare technical document submissions.
• Collaborate and communicate with engineering team and main contractor.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate between engineering team and client technical team for termination diagram, raceway, cable routing, ensuring in compliance with all project specifications and design standards.
• Manage BIM designer for modelling of cable tray, conduit, busduct, etc.
• Preparing technical document submissions.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with engineering team and main contractor regarding technical and coordination issues. Handle and resolve issues.
• Attend meetings with main contractor to address issues and provide updates on project progress.
• Coordinate on the design schedule and coordination of the project design works to ensure design is on schedule.
• Attend site survey and providing technical supports to site and liaise with other engineer during installation phase.

Job Requirements

• Degree/ Diploma in Instrumentation and controlEngineering or equivalent.
• 5 years of working experience in design, construction and project management in Instrumentation and control engineering.
• Knowledge in engineering and project coordination.
• Good interpersonal skills, writing skill and presentation skill and able to work independently.
• Bilingual (English and Mandarin) is required.
• Work 5 days per week at site or office.
