Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager in the overall planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
Monitor project progress and prepare regular updates and reports for management.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
Assist in reviewing project drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards at the construction site.
Support procurement activities by obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders, and following up on material deliveries.
Conduct site inspections and attend project meetings to track and resolve project issues.
Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, approvals, and progress records.
Help manage project costs and assist in tracking project budgets and expenditures.
Identify potential risks and propose mitigation measures to the project team.
Handle other tasks or assignments as directed by the Project Manager or Senior Management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management principles, and site safety practices.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) and AutoCAD or other construction-related software is a plus.
