Project Executive

Company Introduction

Hua Khian is one of the largest stockists and leading fabricators for the supply and installation of worktops in Singapore. We started primarily engaged in the distribution, marketing, sales, and promotion of construction and building products such as homogeneous and ceramic tiles and natural stone. Over time, we have developed our own network with established factories and quarry owners. These years of experience in global procurement and strategic partnerships enable us to import materials of the finest quality.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and pursue sales leads to acquire new clients via cold calls and door knocking in the interior design industry.
  • Build new working relationships with potential clients.
  • Stay updated with the company’s products and services to be well-equipped during sales presentations and to answer all queries from existing or potential clients.
  • Collaborate with other sales representatives to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Liaise with customers to meet their sales inquiries and support needs.
  • Conduct regular visits to customers’ locations when necessary.
  • Build rapport with existing customers through entertaining and regular interactions.
  • Submit, deliver, and update samples as needed.
  • Collect payments from clients.
  • Open new sales accounts by setting appointments with the responsible persons.
  • Arrange sample displays for the designer and contractor showrooms.
  • Conduct routine visits to designers and contractors to build rapport.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by your supervisor or management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in business development, preferably in the construction and building products industry.
  • Driven and self-motivated.
  • Strong consultative, selling, and business development skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
