Our Client, the world’s largest geotechnical specialist contractor, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position as Project Engineer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical Evaluation & Solution Development: Analyze tender documents, specifications, and geotechnical data (e.g., CPT results, soil profiles) to design cost-effective, technically sound solutions for project proposals and site execution.
- Proposal Preparation: Develop detailed technical and commercial proposals, including method statements, preliminary designs, construction sequences, and cost estimates, ensuring alignment with client and project requirements.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (design, procurement, operations) to gather inputs for proposal development and ensure seamless project handover to site execution.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Interface with clients throughout the project lifecycle—from proposal stage to site delivery—on planning, scheduling, technical clarifications, and progress updates.
- Project Execution & Site Management: Plan and oversee daily site activities in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and schedules, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead site crews and subcontractors, enforcing high standards of safety, quality, and productivity while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Geotechnical Risk Management: Interpret and apply geotechnical findings to identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies during both proposal and construction phases.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, QA/QC records, claims, and risk assessments.
- Cost & Resource Optimization: Support cost control initiatives through value-driven engineering, efficient resource planning, scrap minimization, and procurement alignment.
- HSEQ Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards across all phases of the project, contributing to company-wide safety and sustainability goals.
This role will be required to spend most of the time on construction sites and candidates must be comfortable working outdoors.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Professional Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience
- A valid Supervise Construction Work for WSH certificate will be preferable
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Ms Project, AutoCAD

- Location : Based on Project
- Working Days/Hours : 5.5 days (Mon to Fri / 8:30am to 5:30pm, Sat / 8:30am to 12:30pm)
