Job summary

NOVA VITA PTE. LTD. is seeking a project/site engineer to support planning, coordination, and supervision across construction sites in Singapore.

The role requires 2–3 years in construction, proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, and strong communication to coordinate with consultants and clients. You will ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery of works.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma/ Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years in construction, preferably steelworks.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and basic engineering software.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of collaborating within a team environment as well as working independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning project timelines, work schedules, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor daily site operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
• Supervise workers and subcontractors, resolving technical and operational issues on-site.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Provide engineering solutions and support during construction works.
• Track project progress and update management on work status.
• Ensure that works are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure works meet required standards.
• Report and rectify any defects or non-conformities.
• Prepare reports, work schedules, and project documentation.
• Ensure all project-related documents are properly filed and updated.
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations. Participate in risk assessments and toolbox meetings.
