An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to oversee site operations and ensure project compliance. In this role, you will coordinate with contractors and suppliers, manage project documentation, and conduct site inspections to uphold quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with at least three years of experience in the M&E industry. Job description

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all site projects operations, functions and requirements, coordination, supervision and monitoring the progress of the project works on site, manpower mobilization, materials planning and ordering.
• Carry out M&E works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation to ensure compliance to regulatory.
• Prepare and revise engineering documents, drawings, risk assessments, method statements, safe work procedures, operations, and maintenance manuals for all necessary works.
• Provide technical support and guidance to onsite construction teams, resolving issues and addressing challenges in real-time.
• Coordinate with contractor and suppliers on all project implementation issues and attend site meetings when required, ensuring all submissions are made on time.
• Prepare various reports (progress report, project handover report, etc.).
• Conduct site inspections on work progress to ensure quality control in accordance with authority requirements.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels.

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering - Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent.
• Preferably 3 years and above of working experience in M&E industry (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
• Possesses relevant technical knowledge related to M&E works.
• Required language: English.
• Highly motivated, driven by excellence and having an eye for details.
• A resourceful self-starter who possesses excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently yet coordinate and work seamlessly with others, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
• Full-time position available.
