We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join our Programme Management Office (PMO) — someone who thrives at the intersection of business, technology, and operations. In this role, you’ll be a critical enabler, working alongside business units to deliver tech solutions that reduce costs, boost efficiency, and unlock long-term value.

What You’ll Do

• Lead from start to finish: Manage the end-to-end delivery of technology projects and programmes, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and budget, and to the highest quality — all in accordance with Certis PMO governance.

• Turn needs into solutions: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to design, build, and implement secure, compliant applications that directly address operational challenges and business goals.

• Champion innovation: Proactively identify risks and opportunities, challenge legacy processes, and introduce continuous improvements that make a real difference.

• Act as the system steward: Represent system owners in technical discussions, ensuring that deployed solutions are resilient, scalable, and future-ready.

• Bridge Ops and Tech: Facilitate seamless integration between operational teams and technical partners, ensuring solutions are not only delivered — but embedded for impact.

• Be a trusted advisor: Leverage your technical expertise to support business growth initiatives and strategic technology projects across the organisation.

• Go beyond your role: Contribute to group-wide innovation by offering fresh perspectives and technical insights where they matter most.

What You Bring

• A Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in application development or technical project delivery, with bonus points for coding proficiency.

• Working knowledge of project management practices and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Familiarity with web, mobile, or markup languages is a plus.

• Technical foundation in one or more of the following: application development, databases, systems, networks, cybersecurity, cloud, or IT infrastructure.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to diagnosing and resolving technical challenges.

• A team player with excellent communication skills, a solutions-first mindset, and a passion for delivering outcomes.
