Job description

Founded in 1995, Oung Construction (S) Pte Ltd (OCS) has grown into one of Singapore’s largest marine civil engineering firms and a trusted foreshore specialist both in the governmental and private sector. With decades of experience and a solid reputation in the industry, we’ve played a key role in shaping some of Singapore’s most iconic coastal landmarks through our comprehensive suite of services — from the construction and maintenance of revetments, seawalls, breakwaters, and rock bunds, to executing complex reclamation and dredging projects. OCS also provides professional diving services and is actively involved in the trading of land equipment and marine vessels, establishing us as an adaptable, innovation-driven force in the marine infrastructure space.

What you'll be doing:

  • Drive project timelines by planning and coordinating on-site and off-site construction schedules.

  • Track and report progress across all stages—keeping teams, clients, and consultants in the loop.

  • Review drawings (civil, structural, architectural, M&E) to ensure everything lines up with project goals.

  • Monitor site activities closely and produce daily, weekly, and monthly updates.

  • Champion a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.

  • Lead daily toolbox meetings and coordinate tasks with supervisors and safety teams.

  • Liaise with REs and RTOs for inspections, and represent the team in client and safety meetings.

  • Prepare and manage key submissions—RFIs, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, SWPs, drawings, and more.

  • Keep project documentation organized and audit-ready for ISO standards.

What you'll have:

  • A Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Minimally 2 to 4 years of work experience in infrastructural or marine construction industry.

  • Relevant project experiences in dredging, reclamation or near shore construction will be highly regarded.

  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and BCA regulations.

  • Experience assisting in variable projects from time-to-time.

  • Own vehicle will be highly advantageous.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

What’s in it for you:

  • Join a diverse and supportive team that values collaboration and different perspectives.

  • Advance your career with us—we’re strong advocates of lifelong learning and professional growth.

  • Gain exposure through our internship collaborations with reputable educational institutions.

  • Contribute to landmark marine infrastructure projects that are making a real impact across Singapore’s coastlines and waterways.

  • Build a meaningful career in an environment that champions innovation, professionalism, and future-forward thinking.
