Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) seeks an experienced Mechanical/Electrical Engineer for an on-site leadership role in Singapore. You will oversee site works, QA/QC, and coordination between contractors and the client.

Requirements include a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience on projects of similar scale, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of relevant experience in mechanical/electrical construction projects.
• Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or recognised equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on fast-paced projects.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient MS Office skills and PowerPoint presentation preparation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report progress of works to the OIC, Project Director, Client and Contractors.
• Attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings.
• Attend QAQC meetings and perform quality audits on all works.
• Assist in verification of reports and claims related to civil & structural, geotechnical, architectural and M&E works.
• Coordinate the supervision team to resolve main contractors’ queries and coordinate works with other contractors.
• Liaise with authorities and stakeholders to obtain approvals to commence works.
• Assist client in verification of reports and claims submitted by main contractors and ancillary contractors.
• Report site issues, discrepancies, and irregularities to the OIC and Contractors.
• Prepare presentation materials for client meetings and interface with Authorities and stakeholders.
• Prepare minutes of meetings and verify accuracy of minutes prepared by contractors.
• Undertake other duties including administrative tasks as instructed by client.

• Feedback site issues, discrepancies, and irregularities to the OIC and his Contractors.
• Assist in preparing presentation materials for presentations to client, Authorities, Stakeholders and interface parties to provide information and updates.
• Assist in preparing minutes of meetings as per ii) & iii) and verifying the accuracies of the minutes of meeting prepared by the contractors.
• Undertake any other duties including administrative tasks related to the project as and when instructed by client.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of relevant working experience in construction of mechanical/electrical work for projects of similar scale, complexity and nature of works.
• Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or recognised Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance of the OIC.
• Ability to work independently, a strong team player and to handle fast-paced projects.
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders across all levels and good presentation skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, and competent in the preparation of Powerpoint presentations.
