Responsibilities

• Be involved in all aspects of M&E services.
• Responsible for project implementation, planning and coordination of engineering, drafting, contract documentation, procurement, and QC.
• Manage and monitor work-in-progress and ensure on-time project execution.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and government authorities.
• Review and approve permits.
• Attend and conduct on-site coordination and progress meetings.
• Ensure quality, safety and efficient use of materials.
• Assist in tender preparation.
• Handle other M&E matters as required.

Job description

• Be involved in all aspects of M&E Services
• Responsible for project implementation, planning and effective co-ordination of engineering, drafting, contract documentation, procurement, and QC activities on the project.
• Manage and monitor work-in-progress and ensure smooth implementation of projects, from inception to completion, in accordance with scheduled datelines
• Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other relevant government authorities
• Review and approve permits
• Attend and conduct periodic meetings on-site coordination and progress matters
• Responsible for quality aspects of works, site operation safety and material/plants utilization
• Assist in tender preparation
• All other M&E matters as and when required

Requirements

The position is a full-time position, reporting to the respective Division Project Director for the projects for which they are responsible.

Candidates are to have:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Process or Industrial Electrical Engineering with a preferred minimum of 3 years’ experience in design, project management and/or production planning of process equipment.
• It is important that the candidate has a proactive attitude focused on the successful execution of projects and possess a dynamic and motivated personality with good communicative and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy in word, spreadsheets, database and production scheduling software.
• Focus on quality and provision of value to the company and our clients.

Monday to Friday (9:00am - 6.00PM)

Saturday (9.00am - 1.00pm) alternate
