Job description

Design & Construction

  • Review hull steel structure designs and preparation of shop drawings
  • Develop lifting plans for block/pancake lifts, ensuring alignment with project specifications, safety standards and equipment capacities.
  • Perform engineering calculations including sling angles, load distribution, and crane capacity checks.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including rigging drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and contingency plans.

Outfitting Design & Integration

  • Review outfitting systems
    • Plan integration of outfitting with the hull to ensure modular construction compatibility.

Construction & Site Supervision

  • Supervise block assembly, erection, and outfitting installation at the yard.
  • Coordinate progress inspections, QA/QC, and work-pack signoffs.
  • Resolve site issues related to interferences or late design changes.

Project Management

  • Develop and manage work packages, project schedules, and material take-offs (MTOs).
  • Collaborate with departments: procurement, design, production, and HSE.
  • Report on progress, risks, and engineering deliverables to project leadership.

Requirements :

  • Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture / Civil / Marine and Offshore / Mechanical
