Design & Construction
- Review hull steel structure designs and preparation of shop drawings
- Develop lifting plans for block/pancake lifts, ensuring alignment with project specifications, safety standards and equipment capacities.
- Perform engineering calculations including sling angles, load distribution, and crane capacity checks.
- Prepare technical documentation, including rigging drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
Outfitting Design & Integration
- Review outfitting systems
- Plan integration of outfitting with the hull to ensure modular construction compatibility.
Construction & Site Supervision
- Supervise block assembly, erection, and outfitting installation at the yard.
- Coordinate progress inspections, QA/QC, and work-pack signoffs.
- Resolve site issues related to interferences or late design changes.
Project Management
- Develop and manage work packages, project schedules, and material take-offs (MTOs).
- Collaborate with departments: procurement, design, production, and HSE.
- Report on progress, risks, and engineering deliverables to project leadership.
Requirements :
- Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture / Civil / Marine and Offshore / Mechanical
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience
