Job summary

PERMANENT PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking a Civil/Construction Project Manager to lead on-site project delivery in Singapore. You will develop PQP and EHSQ plans, manage permits, coordinate with clients and consultants, and oversee monthly progress claims.

The role requires a degree in Civil Engineering, at least 5 years in project management, and strong leadership to manage subcontractors, resources, and variations under the Project Director.

Responsibilities

• Prepare PQP and EHSQ plans and standard work methods for projects.
• Prepare and submit permits and clearances from authorities before work.
• Collaborate with client reps and consultants to align on project matters.
• Evaluate and certify monthly progress claims.
• Assign site team responsibilities.
• Lead variation works, issue notices, document substantiation, and cost/claim liaison.
• Resolve technical and construction issues.
• Deploy manpower, machinery and equipment per project needs.
• Ensure subcontractor performance and quality meet standards.
• Take on other duties as assigned by the Project Director.

Roles & Responsibilities

To prepare PQP and EHSQ plan and standard work method for the execution of assigned projects.

Prepare and submit for all the permits and clearance from relevant authorities prior to commence works.

Work closely with client representatives and consultants for effective resolution of project matters and management of Client/Consultants expectation

Evaluation and certification of monthly progress claims.

Assign job responsibilities to the site team.

Proactively manage and take lead in Variation Works identification and management serving Notice of Variation Works on time and follow up with relevant documentation substantiation and liaising with internal Tender and Contract Dept for costing build up and claim submissions.

Resolve all issues relating to technical and construction works.

Deploy the required resources such as manpower, machinery & equipment in accordance to the project requirements.

Ensure sub-contractors performance and quality are in line with companys requirements and standard.

Responsible for any other role as assigned by the Project Director from time to time.

Job Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering

Minimum 5 years experience in related and project management field

Preferably Manager specialized in Engineering Civil/Construction/Structural

Possess strong project management and planning skills

Computer literacy and knowledge of AutoCAD

Possess driving license with own transport.
