Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a candidate to assist the Project Manager in planning and overseeing construction projects. The role requires a solid background in Mechanical Engineering and proficiency in tools like AutoCAD. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, be organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided, working 5.5 days a week.

• Assist Project Manager/Senior Project Engineer in project planning.
• Coordinate and oversee all work on site.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists Project Manager/ Senior Project Engineer in project planning and to co-ordinate and oversee all work on the site.
• Study drawing, plans, specifications, and scope of work.
• Responsible for the submission of material samples and shop drawings.
• Monitoring closely of construction work progress, materials, plant, and equipment.
• Verification of material requisition and taking off quantities/site measurement.
• Prepare progress claim to the main contractor on monthly basis.
• Prepare payment certificate and verify subcontractor work progress.
• Ensure quality standards and Safety Requirements are adhered to.
• Work closely with the project team and resolve all technical issues.
• Familiar with calculations involving heating/cooling load, equipment sizing (MV& AHU), Electrical load, and external static pressure calculation
• Maintain, manage, and document according to ISO Standards.
• Able to execute multiple tasks and projects
• Other related duties, as assigned
